... another ICN train, but this didn't matter as we arrived at Delemont an hour earlier than planned (arrived 16.18). It took us about 25 minutes to get to our hotel, mainly because we walked around a block looking for the Information Centre. When we didn't find it, we figured it was probably just the map we were reading (it was the Information Centre) - duh. Hotel was fine and we headed off for a walk around the old town and then drinks and dinner there. Still very hot.
... but I was just happy going for a small walk near the lake, then had a nice seafood basket at the Hotel cafe outside (with all the other umbrella loving the sun people). Oh bought nothing in St Moritz you have to be super rich, oh yes I did, I got a little carmel nut cake thing to share - famous for St Moritz area, it's for Hump Day - the hotel has a cake and chocolate shop attached to it.
... was no bike space on any of the Paris bound trains for tomorrow. Our schedule was kaput! Unless we were able to collapse the bikes down to make them fit as normal baggage. Huge pain in the butt though! And not sure where we can find bike bags. We tried to cycle to our way to the hotel, but once again, a road closure forced us elsewhere. ... that was still open and finally got some grub. It was pouring rain, which made getting my hair done before leaving a bit of a false economy, so we went somewhere else for a coffee. It was about $8 Canadian for a latte, as Switzerland likes to charge ridiculous amounts for things. Then we did some shopping while we waited for Laura's boyfriend Martin to find us and go for a beer. Basel is very cute, at least the older part I've seen so far. It finally stopped raining so we could walk around ...
