    Let me introduce our cruising party. I have attached pics. Today we arrived in Corfu, we had an activity planned by Old Mutual. Rode Suzuki Jimmies 4x4 up the mountain, drive on the right hand side, so one must remember to stay on the right when driving, but not to continue right as you would then drive off the mountain as I almost did on ...

    ... the Greek economy. We saw some ruins on our tour but overall the areas we saw were quite modern many with breathtaking views. Hamish suggested that we go to the Pink Palace but our tour didn't go past there. Perhaps next time! After the tour we got off the bus at Corfu Town and had a quick bite to eat in the main square.     ... the afternoon we took a trip by coach to a ruined castle high above the town. The trip up was memorable for the climb and the narrowness of the road. The scenery at the top was spectacular. We were able to look inland at the mountains for which the Balkans are known, and seaward across the Ionian Sea towards Corfu and Italy.     ... where we then got ready for our themed party that night. The theme was toga party so everyone got creative with bedsheets to create different togas. We went down to the hotel bar where we partied then night away with another contiki tour. Some of the togas were hilarious with one guy wearing his bed-sheet as if it was a nappy. Another good night on tour.
