Friday night, we had yet another Thanksgiving with all of my friends. Everyone prepared their favorite dish and we spent the night telling stories of our families Thanksgivings.

Hi Everyone!

After an exhausting weekend in Brussels, I was in for yet another treat with cooking classes in Florence. Organized by my school, a group of us met with a chef for some lessons.

We were taught how to prepare typical Tuscan cuisine including Ribollita and Stuffed zucchini-flowers.

Everything was delicious & I look forward to trying these recipes at home!

... It's Baptistry has these large, heavy wooden doors with 10 panels of gold plate, carved in bas-relief with scenes from The Bible. It wasn't until we took ANOTHER hop-on/off tour and ended up at Piazza Michaelangelo, overlooking the city that we got a sense of how pretty it is. ... and as you walk from this painting to the back of the chapel you have different events on the lives of Moses and Jesus Christ on either side of you. These painting seem so real, like you are actually a part of the painting itself. No photos allowed in the chapel and crowd kept getting sushed by the guards because you are supposed to be silent in the Chapel itself. Just amazing. Happy Father's Day! Today we had breakfast in the hotel at 7:15 a.m. and were on the road by 7:45 a.m. We drove to Florence and took our instrument and clothes directly to the church where we were going to play.
