Narbonne by day
... not disappoint. We sampled beautiful olives, chillies, olive oil, cheeses etc etc. and we had fun choosing a few yummy items to take for a picnic lunch and for gifts for our next couch surfing hosts.

... hotel in the town centre, Hotel La Residence. This too was a gem and luckily had a room for us (and a carpark for the car). The concierge recommended a restaurant nearby for dinner, so after a freshen up and a drink (we needed it), we went off to find the restaurant - another gem!! A stunning setting. The restaurant also combined an interior design business so the decor was fabulous, every setting was a beautiful different but complementary antique type design. As the night was gorgeous ...
