... Cinnamon doughnut and chocolate eclair brought and eaten in quick succession and more wondering around the town. We decided at 13.30pm to do a hike. 2mile down the mountain the ridge trial was fairly easy route, the steep incline at start and the first half mile down was properly the most strenuous part. To get to the start point we had to take the cable car up. The trek down was enjoyable and some the views incredible. We stopped near bottom ...

... to the weatherman it was supposed to snow at 2am for a few hours. I was determined to see snow so I was waiting up for it. Unfortunately it hit about 4am and I was over waiting so instead I went out our back door which led straight to a massive mountain that had leftover snow on it and ran through it throwing snow balls and making snow angels. ... from See Forever are beautiful and I was lucky it was a clear day.

I stopped skiing about 3:30pm and downloaded back to town on the gondola. I then sat in the hot tub until 5pm when I had a few snacks at the hotel happy hour. At about 5:00, we got back to the jeep rental office, got the jeep all washed off (it had gotten REALLY dirty and muddy), and turned the jeep in. After that we went into a gift shop, where I bought my field guide, my dad bought a guide book with jeep trails, and I bought three raffle tickets for "my" jeep! Every summer in Ouray they raffle off a jeep, and for the past two years, I've bought raffle tickets. I think it ...

... was really surprised when we mounted the crest of the hill and got our first view of Telluride; it's tiny! Like a little village. All nestled picture perfect in a valley between these huge mountains. There is a ski lift right at the edge of town, so if you are a skier and live in Telluride, you can just wake up in the morning, take your skis, walk to the ski-lift and head to the slopes. Pretty convenient I'd say.
We met a guy as we were waiting for our gondola to arrive, ...
