... wonderful mountains against a clear blue sky. Alan took 104 photographs in about 3 hours!
Tuesday was also clear, so we drove to Chamonix, which is also at the base of Mont Blanc, for a view from another angle. We planned to take a telecabine up to Aillguille du Midii, the next door peak, but the web-cam showed it was too cloudy at the top to make it worthwhile, so we had lunch instead!
Today was fine but not sunny this ...
... city on our way up. On the first stop we decided to get off and take some pictures. My selfie stick really came in handy today. I totally wore the wrong pair of shoes though. I wore boots since it was going to be cold, but I soon found out that my shoes had no friction when I face planted in the snow. It was so embarrassing!!!! Good thing it was only Jeff and Nikko who saw, or I would have been mortified. Needless to say, it was the joke of the day. Hey, that rhymed!

... of the trip. For me, the highlight was getting to know all the people on the trip with us. Going through an experience like this brings people together quickly and I really enjoyed that. I also really enjoyed visiting Nestle because it was more relevant to my major and industry that I hope to get into after graduation. Overall the trip was a blast, and I would love to do it all again if I had the chance.
We got up at a good time this day and took the tour bus to the French Alps to Mont Blanc to go see Aguille du Midi. This was an open day where we could all go off and see and take pictures of what we wanted. I think this was the first time that a lot of the students where ever up so high at such an altitude and all were very excited. We then met up later on to have lunch in the city of Chamonix which is the city at the base ...
