      ... that there is a national day of mourning in France today for those that were killed in a terrorist attack in Paris. Twelve people were killed. A policeman also was shot in a different village. Very sad. The news tonight was very focussed on it.

      Back in the apartment, Daddy took Brody and Marni back to the pool again and into the steam room. I started to get us ready for our flight home tomorrow and made our own vin chaud.

      ... Marni was looking tired, and it was ten past 3, so we decided I would take back to the chalet and the others would keep skiing.


      Marni and I went back to the chalet, and arrived at around 4:30, slow going with her! She wanted to go for a swim, so we got changed and ready to go and walked the short distance the pool. We went in the spa (well kind of, I sat on the edge!) and the pool several times, swapping in between the 31 ...

      ... tired today so I took her down and back to the apartment about 2:30. I had to carry her so the 15min walk took me over 45 mins! It is really hard in the ski clothes as she is so slippery, plus the boots and helmets make her super heavy, and then she was like a big lump because she was so tired. Anyway, we had a lovely time just the two of us, she had a bath and some dinner and by 4:30 was ready for bed.

      ... the restaurant....so we opted for that. Matt took Marni in between his legs and I skied just there with them to encourage and help her. She got the hang of it pretty quick....I think Matt must have been a ski instructor in a past life. Then up the chair lift, Matt took care of that too and just plucked her off at the other end so she didn't have to ski off. Same again, off to the restaurant where we met up with Brody, Nanny ...

      So this morning, back to the aeroport, so back over to Switzerland from France and we split into two groups. Rob was chauffeuring myself and the kids to the apartment and Roz and Matt were taking some luggage and catching the Alpy bus. So we split into two groups and off we went.
