Once we came back down, we were in Aspen and it was 1pm so we decided to have a late lunch. Whilst driving around to find parking, Darren glimpsed down a street and saw a bear!! I guess it's not too uncommon to have bears around but by the time we could turn around safely, it was long gone.
This morning we had planned to skype a few people, however the WIFI had gone down last night and still wasn't working so we had give up on skype for now.
There were a few things going on today in near by towns...first off we stopped in Edwards (10 mins drive west) for a Pumpkin Patch. It said there would be lots of pumpkin displays, however there wasn't as much as they had made out...it was still fun to see so many different shapes, sizes and colours of pumpkins.
I have finally reached the point where I can just relax around a swimming pool. I know quite silly to arrive at this but the last six weeks have been amazingly fantastic but really intense. It is nice as well to have time with my friends in Boulder.
I will not have made it without Theo as he mentionned on FB, 40 days, 10 000 miles, 25 states and al least 12 National parks.

I am in heaven! There is actual water running in the Colorado River. In spots, you could call it whitewater. Trees are green. Grass is green. Colorado had enough rain this spring for rampant wild flowers still in bloom.

With cameras, accessories, and computers we gathered at the Snowmass Club after breakfast for our first session.
