... after my A Levels. Now it is back to haunt me.

Nonetheless, it is a good thing to walk. At least I can explore the city a bit. I refused to bring my camera along. Only the phone camera. So I am forced to look at my surroundings and absorb. It was indeed a very long walk. 1 hour and 30 mins, thereabouts. On the way, I see huge houses. Kind of makes me think about the huge income disparity here in Mexico. I'm not sure if it is a good thing or a bad thing for the society ...

... consisted of some nicely spiced chilaquiles and some watery local commercial beer. The group got to know each other a bit better by shouting over bad pop music. Maybe not the ideal scenario, but we made it work.

And now I'm exhausted so I'm going to get some shut-eye. I've got one of the world's biggest and most interesting cities to explore tomorrow, and only a day in which to do it, so I'm going to need my energy.

The next morning I walked to the main road and caught a local bus for $20Mx instead of the $300Mx I would have been charged for taking a taxi to the airport and arrived just as they were beginning to open. My flight to Culiacan was just half an hour or so and from there I would need to get myself to El Fuerte ready to ride the train to the Copper Canyon
