... or art.

Now, if I use my words, this is what a Tianguis is for me:
Its a huge stretch of stands selling all kinds of goods, from fresh fruits and vegetables to all kinds of pets and also used clothing and shoes, everything at a seriously competitive price.

I might start work on Thursday, or maybe not, depending on the status of my immigration registration. If so, I will have the rest of the week to rest and explore the city a bit. Pretty cool.

The next morning I walked to the main road and caught a local bus for $20Mx instead of the $300Mx I would have been charged for taking a taxi to the airport and arrived just as they were beginning to open. ... the tent city but also the usual market stalls and food vendors you see throughout Mexico City. We visited the Metropolitan Cathedral which is built on the site of Templo Mayor (an Aztec Temple destroyed by the Spanish in 1521) and the excavated ruins of the Templo Mayor. This was after lunch at the fantastic Cafe de Tacuba where I ate my first Tamale and Josh tried Mole - all very delicious and the Cafe was really beautiful too.
