Cm Santa Cristina s/n Lloret de Mar, Costa Brava, Catalonia, Spain and Canary Islands, 17310
... this period of year there are mostly aged people resting there, however I noticed there a lot of clubs near the beaches, so I consider that in summer this town is full of students. The beaches are sandy and what is important all those beaches are public. And one more thing - there are NO PRIVATE BEACHES in Lloret de Mar!
Lloret de Mar, Catalonia, Spain and Canary Islands eleoshkaHey!
Sorry, it´s been a while, I´ve been really busy! Had a great time in madrid, settled in after a few days and had loads of fun. Learnt lots of spanish as well, and met some great people. Also, I´m 22 now, which makes me old and responsible. Kinda sad to leave madrid, as it was a really great city to live in, but now here I am in Catalonia.
Granollers is a pretty nice town, lots of shops in a pedestrianised centre. The ...
... at Roses looked much better with a lot more seafood included.
After lunch we set off up to the castle, inside its walls are numerous little houses which are still inhabited, although the satellite dishes were rather incongruous! After all this exercise it was time for a cocktail followed by a spot of shopping before eventually heading back to L’Escala.
cerca!
desp escribo desde la muralla!

As if the Dali Museum wasn't cool enough, the next stop was two little villages on the Mediterranean coast called Portlligat and Cadaques. Dali lived in Portlligat and his house has since been turned into a museum, complete with big eggs on the roof (Dali was big on big eggs-they were all over the place at the Dali Museum). We drove up this tiny mountain road (which was interesting in a really big bus...) and as we were going over a hill, the ...
Last day with our C8 MPV and so Sue plotted out a day on the Costa Brava coast. Her research was spot on and we ended up for breakfast at Tossa de Mar (albeit at 10am). Gorgeous beach and easy parking just beating the rush. By the time we left (after a long swim) beach was packed. Sandy even did as the locals and bared her ...
Tossa de Mar, Catalonia, Spain and Canary Islands buckgwI take a bus to Tossa de Mar, a small beach resort on the way to France. It is along the Costa Brava where the hills meet the coast making for some dramatic landscape. My thought was to use a luggage check, explore the town. I have a reservation for a hostel in Girona for the evening so I have to catch the 5:00 bus. Well, apparently much of Western Europe lacks baggage lockers. I go to a hotel and they refuse to take it for the day (even for ...
Girona, Catalonia, Spain and Canary Islands will.travellerSleeping on the sand fully clothed was a new one for us and were forced to wake up by the sun rise. As the sun got higher in the sky we seemed to get more and more lazy until we just decided to stay another night. I´m 22 and still havent managed to learn the sun tan lotion lesson. As a result I now look like the inside of a water melon ...
Santa Susanna, Catalonia, Spain chris_jones01... busted into a campsite to enjoy some free entertainment. We danced like fools amongst people on family holidays. After taking it up a peg and getting up on stage the DJ started to play happy birthday!!!! unfortunately no one joined in due to a lack of popularity gained from dancing offensively and clearing the dance floor by smelling really really bad. Although all was good because a group of mums asked olly to take his top off.
Santa Susanna, Catalonia, Spain chris_jones01... venue with stained-glass windows that is probably a must-see inside. Next time I come to Barcelona, I'll also have to stop by the chocolate museum (nts: www.museudelaxocolata.com) Stayed a couple days more as the others went to Rome, and though I wish I had gone with them, I'm also glad to have stayed in Barcelona longer. Also made my way to Tibidabo, the top of the city, I went about half-way up the hill where you can see all of the city and how gorgeous it is. Earlier that ...
