... help being aware that Veterans are well respected. We came back to the harbour area called the Spanish Landing Park, bought a coffee and banana and sat at a table and proceeded to have our last picnic. We watched a couple unload what looked like large bags and build them up into plastic kayaks. Very interesting watching. They did offer us a shot! ... Village. This areas is full of shops and restaurants along the bay. There was a fish market at the boardwalk. This is downtown San Diego. It was very busy. We headed over to Tuna Harbor Park. This is in the maritime historic area. There are numerous ships from the 1500's to WWII. The Bob Hope memorial is quite impressive! ... important life updates and hung for a bit over dinner, drinks and then some trivia, at which we got a very disappointing 9th place.
