    ... to not bribe the police as one may in Mexico. This would result in great offence and hence a great offence. It is a pity that humans haven’t harnessed the bird as they have they beast, because 60% of Spain’s racing pigeons call Gran Canaria home, many of the enthusiastic fanciers use the island for international conventions.     ... over the big climb and Martin shuttled to the top. He was so excited to get to take the downhill at full speed without me. He cycled on to lunch at 33.5 miles with elevation gains of 3815 ft and max speeds of 45 mph. Lunch was on the water in Playa de Mogan where we watched scuba, swimming and beach goers.
