      ... we didn’t know of any hard ware surf shops, but managed to spot one from the road in our travels.

      ... br> A little over a year ago we public transported ourselves down to Beaudesert to pickup our Hyundai. We saved nearly $3,000 on the car so we thought that worth while. However it took 7.5 hours by public transport and we were knackered. No way were we going to repeat that little exercise.

      What to do?

      We looked at various options and alternatives and discovered that Qantas Frequent Flyer Points allowed cheap or no cost accommodation ...

      ... and dropped all our luggage off then Charlene took us to this great little pub in Boreen Point for lunch. It was a great spot right on the river and the pub had a huge grassed area for the kids to run around on, it would have been great for a big Sunday Sesh in the summer time, which Charlene said they have done a few times.       ... mayor! Numerous aircraft flew overhead as the service proceeded. It was quite something to be able to witness it. We met a retired serviceman, Dave-O!       ... sit on a plush sofa in the cool serene surroundings to connect ourselves to their complimentary wifi on our own tablets. In fact, we visited almost everyday and even sat outside in the evenings to contact our family back home via Facetime.
