Now truthfully it didn't actually take to much convincing, the tahoe rim trail is something I have wanted to do for awhile, and I didn't have much of a reason to say no.  The Tahoe Rim Trail is a 173 mile trail that goes along the crest of the mountains ...

Another thing i saw was when i was swimming in the Colorado River in Moab. These things with heads above the water were circling around in a quite part of the river waiting for food to float by. ... spending the night in Carson City. Before we secured the hotel in Carson City, we attempted to find a hotel off the beaten path in Silver City (an old western town full of narrow streets and historic buildings) but none of the hotels were open for business. We went back to Carson City and took a room at the Super 8. Tomorrow we hope to get to the other side of Nevada.
