... Pretty cool to see all the fish along the reef! No sea turtles right here but we did see a couple while on the raft. Jerry learned that mustaches and snorkeling do not work well together...can't get a tight seal on the mask so you get lots of salt water in it. Still managed to enjoy the experience. The ride back was a bouncing one! Full throttle ahead! Pretty sure my internal organs and back will take some time to realign themselves! It was an exciting and exhausting adventurous ...

On the far end it dropped down steeply to the top of Waipo'o Falls which we saw from the helicopter and from the lookouts the other day. ... at the beach. There were chickens running around everywhere, even some with little baby chicks (they are wild, and common on Kauai). I also got to see someone rescued by a lifeguard. There were some people on boogie boards that had gone out too far, and on the left side of the beach (there had been a sign saying that side had a bad current). The lifeguards had a megaphone and told the people to come back to shore, but one didn't. So the lifeguard got ...

... in my luggage….I went for a 5K walk along the Pedestrian/Bike Path along the ocean front and then enjoyed some Shave Ice. Today was actually a relaxing-chill-sleep in kind of day. Needed that….it was nice! Later on I went to Wailua Falls. These tiered waterfalls are 113 feet in height, and are very close to Kapa’a and only took about 20 minutes or so to get there. ...
