... its claim to fame in the 1950’s when it featured in the Elvis Presley film ‘Blue Hawaii’. Not that you would know it, when we watched the start of the film the same beach is still as unspoilt and natural as it was over 60 ago which only reiterates our point that Kauai is a rare underdeveloped paradise on our ever expanding world.

... It was a nice place with an excellent view. However, Princeville is remote and the condo is on a cliff - hard to get to the beach. I'm glad we decided on Lae Nani instead. While we were in the area, we heard Ben Stiller lives in Princeville. We checked out the neighborhood. There were some nice houses but we never found Ben.

... went silent and the first group got ready to be treated by the soft yet wrinkled hands of the old woman. Facials and full body massage were on offer, Livvys face was hysterical, "i am not having that woman by the fridge" as a short dumpy Ms doubtfire looking woman continues to massage pat the grooms mother.
Thoroughly limbered and in a state of relaxation, Livvy comes out of the room from her massage "well?" i ask........."yeah it was really nice, she was stretching me out ...

... in the opening of Fantasy Island, we noticed the Wailua River was very muddy, presumably from the mudslide up in the mountains.

After some time we drive further into the mountains and located the trail.

We hiked the two miles surrounded by the tropical landscape. Soon we came to a picnic area and took a rest and gazed over the miles of forest.

... was completely calm. Of course, I was in the front, middle seat. Maybe if I'd been in one of the side seats, and been able to look straight down, I would have felt more of an adrenaline rush. Or maybe I was just too amazed by the views to feel anything but awe.
