... ridge that looks like, wait for it, a sleeping giant. He was really cool. Legend has it that the islanders would light fire behind him so that attackers to the island would believe that the giant was rising to help beat the attackers off. ... Tall person problems). We arrive shortly to what looks like a deep canal with fast-ish running water a safety briefing is quickly gone through…… starts to rain, Livs face sinks the second a droplet of rain touches her skin. Its time to get in the water (now if you know Liv, Liv and cold do not go) the guide runs through how to get in your ring, even they are finding the water a bit nippy

... On our way back to the hotel we stopped for the best tacos EVER. Island tacos. That's all I have to say about that. Upon returning to the hotel, we took a nap before dinner at Tidepools. Very romantic. Very Tahitian. The food was lovely, and the ambience was quite romantic. A brief walk around the property led us back to our room... And then off to bed. More adventure awaits today, but I'll chronicle that ...

... 20-25 feet in depth. There was a water zipline and a jumping platform for our enjoyment. I even did a back flip off the platform!!! Good times!
My water shoes literally disintegrated during the hike…the rubber soles seem to crack and fall off. Too funny. They are not even making the trip home - they have already found the garbage. Woohoo - less weight in the suitcase!!!! Haha.

... range that were bouncing off the rocks perfectly, wedging up, and then just peeling. On top of that the water was so nice...that clear blue-green color that Donkeys often got. There is no river mouth at Donkeys so it wasn't affected by the chocolate milk.
