      I know it's been a while since I've posted, but have no fear, I am not one of the unfortunate 8 souls who died last weekend from an avalanche in the surrounding areas. True stat. I haven't done any crazy traveling the past two weeks, but I have visited some pretty cool places that I can fill y'all in on!

      ... Hansen etc.) colorful restaurants and bars. The only downside was that due to ''extreme'' snow conditions we couldn't take the Mont Blanc train nor could we see the Montenvers Mer de Glace.
      To sum up, I must say I wouldn't recommend Chamonix as a must-see but it's a nice town to spend a few days but definitely not the best place for skiing. ...

      ... exercise by doing some decent hikes. I caught the gondola from the village up to 1644 m to the Pointe de Beauregard where I commenced my first adventure outing on this trip. There was plenty of snow up at Beauregard, just not enough for any decent skiing. But there was enough to make my hike very picturesque and somewhat treacherous as much of the paths had turned to ice.
