    ... a natural park with a veterans memorial there. The climb was through a very expense neighbor hood with killer views. Honestly I would be afraid the house would slid down the mountains. They can build anywhere. At the top the views were amazing. No words for the views of sand and surf, not counting the view of the cities and towns all around. The descent was 11%.

    ... important life updates and hung for a bit over dinner, drinks and then some trivia, at which we got a very disappointing 9th place.     ... but with both the air and water temp in the low to mid 80's the dips aren't as refreshing as we'd like. We both prefer cool temps to warm (an understatement say those who've been to our house in winter...) They say the Sea of Cortez cools rapidly at this time of year. Right now we hope whoever "they" may be, are correct.

    ... We all agreed that uncle mike would fit in here nicely. We found the burger bar called Hodads that boasted of being the best burger in the world. The queues out of the door continued all day so they must have been good.

    This was the kind of beach and people I expected most of California to be like. Huge spans of sand covered with families playing, people surfing and weird people hoola hooping and giving away free bibles and Hare Krishna's chanting in tents. This ...
