in the last 2 days we drove 96 miles. Not so much walking in today's humidity!!!
few restaurants or businesses are air conditioned. Thing, GPS, had another few issues particularly downtown, but we at least are watching him. He seems never to use the same way twice.

... and then I went to brunch with Tay, Ali, Melissa and Carlee at The Mission. We scarfed down breakfast burritos and pancakes for the table (brilliant idea, Ali Coad). We then laid at the beach for a bit, said a few goodbyes to Rally and then a bunch of people at the church, and then it was time for me to head out and catch a haircut before my friends from Davis were to arrive at my house in Vista. I reunited with them at the Union in Encinitas, and man was it wonderful to see ...
... 8217;t arrive any earlier than 11:30am. Hmmmmm! I guess not too many people follow instructions! Hehehe!
After leaving our luggage at the pier, we rapidly entered inside the terminal. This was followed by us standing in line with the rest of the “Gold Member” guests! Since my “Set Sail” paperwork had been filled at home, this meant a much faster ...
... but with both the air and water temp in the low to mid 80's the dips aren't as refreshing as we'd like. We both prefer cool temps to warm (an understatement say those who've been to our house in winter...) They say the Sea of Cortez cools rapidly at this time of year. Right now we hope whoever "they" may be, are correct.
Next stop Los Frailes (the Friars.) Fair winds.

We then headed to the marina and walked along the coast before being picked up and taken to Mission Beach, where we sun bathed for a bit, headed to a bar to soak up the sun, and then finished with a bike ride up the coast.
