Brussels: The Beer (and Comic) Capitol of Europe

A travel blog entry by jaclyn.brian

... Best Beer in the World," and justifiably so) and Nocturnum, I think it's safe to say that we were all eager to wet our proverbial whistles (or livers. How does that saying go again?) at this particular spot.

It's a good thing Jaclyn enjoyed the beer, because after our drinks it was off to the Belgian Comic Strip Center, a museum dedicated to...well, you know. I wasn't sure what to expect from the place, but it was an impressive exhibit for both fans ...

... cute little pot served at table, cooked in white wine and herbs). And of course BEER to wash it down, (as in Rome!) Met a lovey couple from Scotland, shared many tales. Spent the day meandering around, snapping pictures to our hearts content and taking it all in. Slight problem on the train ride back, (note to self, and must NOT mix beer, chocolate, and mussels, arrgg!). Moving right along... Home train bound, HUGE day.......sigh!
