I just have to finish off in Tuscany ... We spent our last morning in Bagni di San Filippo...one of the local thermal sulphur bath areas near Pienza. Well what a laugh...we never expected the guys to rise to the occasion .....but they did, shower caps and all...looking like those other rubber things!!! What a laugh... We all enjoyed it and came out relaxed and smiling! A super little lunch spot ...

Then I am flying! Painting,
writing, photographing, cooking, dressing beautifully and supporting the dreams
of others around me, and bopping back to the States regularly to see family. Or
even better, hosting friends and family in my European home!
Sometimes I panic and think the only thing which matters is
some kind of job, and fast. But what good is a job without health ...
Well, we managed to get away at about 09:00 this morning and headed to St Peter's Square for the obligatory team photo in our Retinitus Pigmentosa charity cycling tops. Once we had done that we started the journey home.
The first bit was on a cycleway alongside the River Tiber which was nice. After that it was onto fairly busy roads which has been the theme for the day with a few notable exceptions. We managed to get separated for a few miles but bumped into each other again after ...
Went to Bomarzo yesterday to go to the monster garden, where there are stautes that were carved from voclanic rock in the 1500's. It was expensive to get in and the statues weren't all that impressive. It was a pretty day though and we met a really nice Columbian professor that helped us find the bus station to get back to Viterbo, I got a proschetta ...
... I got a few things including a bunch of mushrooms which I am cooking right now. The mushrooms still had dirt on them when I bought them so I'm hoping I don't get sick. Ended up being tasty but kind of slimy and salty like a snail. Walked around the city with Leonardo and he showed me the cathedral that the pope built. It was unexpectedly huge and ...
