It seems as if everybody is on the take. At the airport today, the departure tax 300,000 rupees ($30) the lady wanted $40. We promptly exchanged $30 at the money exchange desk and paid with Indonesian rupees.
We are sitting at Singapore airport waiting for our flight to New Zealand which we feel will be the highlight of our trip. We will be in NZ for 5 weeks.
