    ... cute until they show their teeth and then you understand how they could be if upset.
    This is a nice spot to visit for a relaxing view of fish and sharks, turtles and rays, all in the same tank. The sharks are about 2-3metres long and glide through the water, right in front of the glass, giving the little kids something to talk about. They really have some interesting thoughts on these sharks. This kept us amused for a while, just watching and chilling.

    ... camera and no rain gear! We made our escape towards the car and holed up there for a few minutes until the worst of the deluge had passed. At ten to twelve, we made our move, leaving the camera in the car but heading to nearest patch of beach. The fireworks didn't disappoint and we were treated to a lavish ten minute display as we gazed over the water from our vantage point on the sand.   • gymnastics (this will have to be Jo Ann vs Max -- hard to pick a winner here, although Max assures us there will be no balance beam involved)
  • chess (there is a walk-on board by the pool, and the kids have been practicing)
