          ... and then had some
ciders at a picnic table outside the Last Resort hostel bar. It was
super casual and super fun. We laughed and talked about castles and
such. Yup, good stuff! We left at around 1.00 and were back at
the hostel by 1.30. The clubs were still thumping and Surfers
Paradise was coming alive with late-night munchies and drunken
wanderers. Beauty. The hostel was mostly empty but for some random
people hanging out and drinking. We hit our beds, but ...

We were glad to be outside and in the warmth eating steak and sipping on a cold white wine. Jill and Anthony opted for the local Carlton Draught beer feeling well and truly in to the swing of Australian Al fresco dining! Our next foodie heaven was the following morning at breakfast. Yet another and ...

After hundred and hundreds of miles driving and seeing loads of dead Roos by the side of the road we got to the national park where there are the caves of the red hands. So after a 16 km dirt road drive (sue hates going off road) we got to a place to park and then a walk down a gorge in the bush (sue doesn't like the bush or gorges) after a discussion we agreed we would only walk for ...

... to Robbie taking over the cooking responsibilities. Throughout our first week he’d set high expectations for the quality of his homemade hamburgers and they didn't disappoint. It was yet another good quality meal and was once again followed by Robbie falling asleep on the sofa. Thankfully he’s such a deep sleeper that it never intruded on the TV that we watched. Junior, Helen and I randomly fell into a routine of watching old episodes of British classics that ...
