... phenomenal. Aunty Ton wore her Ostrich again and finally the Ostrich Appreciation Society was started with a gentleman stopping her and telling her how much he liked it! We walked back to the hotel and found a little Italian restaurant to have dinner. That is one thing in New York - we never have trouble finding a restaurant to eat at any time of the day and the servings of food are HUGE! A really lovely day in New York! Not long now until I see you all. Love Mum ...

... St to get the 1 train to Christopher St for a small dessert at Big Gay Ice Cream. The line was nearly out the door when I arrived at the shop and when I left it was around the corner. I chose the Mermaid. This is a dish of vanilla soft serve with graham cracker pie crust crumbs, key lime curd and whipped cream. I liked it a lot and was glad I tried it. Last year I got the Bea Arthur and loved that too. I can’t wait to try another concoction on my next visit-maybe the ...

... eat what I want, and BE whatever the heck I want! I like that.

Tonight is dinner in Manhattan I reckon over some wine and caviar. Then more goodbyes in the morning. Im back at it with a 10 am flight to Honolulu. I may be a litte zombie-fied so I'll write as soon as I come out of my funk and open you up to Hawaii's breathtaking scenery. From sapphire seas to rainbow arches, emerald valleys, and lush tropical rain forests.....we'll see it all....TOGETHER!!
