For Nicole to get to this level in her sport of choice is amazing. There are the top 1800 triathletes in the world competing in this race. There are something like 80,000 triathletes competing around the world so we are pretty dammed proud at what Nicole has achieved regardless of tomorrow's results. Go Nic, Nicgoquick!!

Another very hot day. We had booked a Hawaiian Chocolate Tour a few days ago for today. It was south of us and in a really pretty area. We arrived just before 9 am. Large tour, held by the owner of the place. He and his wife bought it in 1997 and moved from S. Carolina. Brave! Good choice, I think they are doing really well. ... coast east of Honolulu. We walked up a beautiful but blisteringly hot trail to a lighthouse, where we had excellent views of the ocean from O’ahu’s southeastern most point.
