We loved our many stays at the KOA Lagoon

      from

We have stayed at the KOA Lagoon many times, the last in April of 2005, and can say without a doubt this is the best deal. Clean rooms, beautiful yards, they keep up everything at this Condo, rates are just what we want to pay. Very nice personnel. Great view of the ocean, beautiful lanai's to eat on, just a wonderful home away from home. Enjoy!! Senior Citizens from Adrian, Michigan.

Wow - and in Maui, too

      from

This was truly a wonderful surprise. What a great and beautiful condo on one of the most beautiful islands in the world. Our unit was huge and even provided us with a telescope to gaze at the stars on our own lanai overlooking the most beautiful ocean in the world. Our unit was newly updated and I think we were the first people to use the new toaster. What a special treat (after being in Hawaii for 7 days already) to find a new washer/dryer right in our unit. The bedroom was large and the kitchen was huge, clean and had all updated appliances. We had a beautiful living room and a dining room. The value was unbelievable and Linda (who runs this condo) was very nice and helpful. We did so much on the island, thanks to a concierge service they recommend and please ask for RW as this man knows EVERYTHING about the island. We could have stayed across the street at another condo for $20 a night less but opted for pay more for staying on the ocean. This is what Hawaii is all about. We were 10 steps from the water. WOW - WOW - WOW. We'll be back.

      A beautiful and relaxing vacation

      from

We stayed at the Koa Lagoon condo (rm 303) in May of 2005 for our honeymoon. Even after staying in a resort on Oahu for the first half of our trip we were really blown away by the comfort and coziness that the Koa Lagoon had to offer, especially considering the amazing price. Everything was clean and neat and the views were amazing. We spent many afternoons just lounging on the balcony enjoying the amazing landscapes. We are already looking forward to our next trip and know we will be spending our stay in Maui at the Koa Lagoon.

      Very Good Condo in Kihei

      from

We rented unit 507 (2-BDR, 2BTH) and it was very nice. Clean and with new appliances. This is not an upper-end resort by any means, but it got the job done with no problems at all. All units face ocean. Complex is on the beach, not across the street like some.

The beach outside is not a good swimming beach, but its nice for walks. Swimming beaches are close. There's a pool but no jacuzzi.

Shops and restaurants are about a half-mile down the main road.

      We Love The Koa

      from

The Koa is our place of choice. We stay 3 weeks when the kids get out of school. The price is right and it's very cozy like home. Linda is very kind and is always there when we need something. We love to walk the beach and drink our morning coffee on our privite lani. Mahalo Linda

      Great Property

      from

Stayed here May 2004..The 2 bedroom 2bath condo was wonderful...had everything we could possibly need right there, with a great price. The beach was a bit rocky, but it didn't bother us. Plenty of restaurants and shops within short driving distance. Quieter area than Kaanapali or Lahaina which was what we wanted. We will be back!

      Great views!!

      from

Stayed April 2004. FANTASTIC views. All units are ocean front view. We rented 1 bedroom 1 bath unit. Very reasonably priced. Close to shopping, airports, nice central location to all.

      Koa Lagoon

      from

Our unit at Koa Lagoon was beautifully decorated and had all the amenities. Large lanai and great view. Close to beaches and shopping but not walking distance. We enjoyed our 2-week stay very much.

      Like...Aloha!

      from

Been to Koa Lagoon many times...always loved it. Great place to unwind and watch the sunsets. We were there Oct 2001 when the nation was is such turmoil and shock, and our feeling of peace was restored. The nunits are always well furnished and comfortable. We'll be back again and again.

      Total Comfort

      from

We have been staying at this resort for quite a few years. Besides a quite location close to all. Units are great, clean nicely appointed.

... and a low level sunburn that makes food taste that much better. We sat out for a while after eating just talking and enjoying periods of silence before heading in and going to bed. Inspired by the locale I watched a few episodes of Magnum PI (shot on the main island) on Netflix before going to bed. Again it was very hot in the condo, so I slept on the pull out sofa with the screen door open, listening to the sounds of the waves crashing on the rocks as I slept.

... and beyond. Luckily, they brought us back before the lights came back on! After the shows, Pam and Bill headed off to do some Sunday shopping and we headed back up the Hamakua coast to continue our garden tour from the day before. Botanical World Adventures features a plethora of trees in a 10 acre arboretum. One website reports over 5,000 species - an amazing variety, and pretty well labeled. The was also a walk down to the river and a waterfall, along with a few mosquitoes. ...

Once the snorkeling was over there didn't appear to be any more points on the table, but apparently the open cooler situation led to me being my full on bizarre self and ...

... I'll wager our pace is quite slow. ------------ The Maui Ocean Center is a good place to let the kids run and it has some attractive and effective exhibits. However, it is a little pricey at $70-plus for two adults and a child. Our online reservation allows us to return again in the next week at no charge. I think I've already lost the pass though. Henry has had some atrocious wind since before we landed and it ...

... br> More later...okay as with all great vacations you have to go with the flow. After our workout early morning the clouds decided to join us so we changed the snorkel ling to a visit to Lahaina town it was great. Lots of small tourist shops and home of the Bubba Gump Shrimp factory which is where we had lunch. We both bought new bathing suites and the food at the Bubba's was not bad. From there we went to the bike shop and rented Heather ...
