Monday..... Chef Mickeys, Downtown Disney, Bibbidy Bobbidy Boutique
Today was one of the most eagerly awaited days of our trip, booked for the last week to give us one last blast of Disney. We then took off for some shopping but found the best stores to shop at were the newer shops behind the Loop. After picking up a few items we headed to the movie theatre to watch Hunger Games. ... Regardless, it was a great ride! In my opinion it beat the Hulk coaster hands down.
We stopped for lunch in the Africa section of the park. We had some sort of chicken curry. It was really delicious even though it was about as expensive as what we had eaten at Universal Orlando.

Next we went for the Dolphin plunge which is an enclosed transparent slide that goes through the Dolphin tank. The dolphins are Commerson dolphins which look like miniature Killer Whales. I don't like flume rides but the promise of having dolphins swimming around me lured me in! Unfortunately you whizz down the chute so fast that you have no chance ...
... although they were happy with the idea of visiting the Toys r Us discount store...). We bought a couple of pairs of Sketchers light up shoes for Lara, a couple of Disney t shirts for Matt and a couple of oversized teddies for Lara and Duncan which double as pillows!
It was around 7.30 so we decided to head to the Boardwalk and go and watch the Epcot fireworks (with mixed reactions from the children). However ...
