    In thinking, I've omitted the fact that US 50 runs somewhat along the old route of the Pony Express. Not much is left of any of it, but signs point out when you're driving close to the trail.

    After Bec said goodbye to his friend Walker we packed up our belongings and hit the road calling into Denny's for breakfast.
