      ... today! We walked round to a couple of the beaches but there was no sand - it was just rocks. We figured although the beaches at Cannes had more people at least there was sand. So we were satisfied we had seen all there was to see on the island and we trotted back to the harbour to catch the boat back.       Got up at 6.30 and went to breakfast on roof to. Checked out and walked to Station. Got earlier train. Went along moving platform. Lovely trip. Changed at Ventimelia and walk nearly to the sea.       Don't really feel like doing anything today...

      We drove from Barcelona to Nice, via Arles for lunch. Arles is a beautiful old town with a mini colosseum (it is an old bull fighting ring) and houses with colourful old shutters. I really liked it. We had ice cream for lunch (I think we can do whatever we feel like today, no guilt...). I tried to order it in French. The guy answered me with a confused Canadian accent.
