A fabulous place! The owners are very kind, the units are comfortable and well appointed, and the location is good. A 15 minute walk down to the beach.

    Steak and Shake in Cannes!

A travel blog entry by turnerstravels on Apr 26, 2015

This is a quick entry, and it is for just us. Nothing exciting, except I had to mention one of the best meals we have had, and it was at a chain burger joint called Steak and Shake. We all had burgers that were divine. I think the Turner family needed a burger fix, because I haven't seen us all eat burgers that quickly in a long time. So good! We …

... then where we stayed and now we know that is where we would like to stay next (With more of the vingnard views.) We also decided that a cruise would be a lot of fun, but we got to know the country better this way. We also agreed that Antibes is much nicer than Cannes, if we are ever in that area again. Overall a great trip, the best part was the old buildings and continuously good food! So happy to have been able to share our mini family adventure! ...

... casino!!! We were then headed towards home with a brief 30min stop in the medieval town of Eze (pronounced ez-ah). Here we climbed the stairs up the many narrow walkways, passing lots of boutiques, hotels and restaurants until we got to the gardens at the top. We didn't have time to enter (or pay the $6 euro pp), as we only had 10 minutes to return down to the car park for our pick up to return home. All in all this was a lovely day trip - we left ...

... It's a small but beautiful campus right on the coast of the Mediterranean. The dorms are super nice and better than what I expected. I am in a triple room with two other girls from my study abroad group. Brunch was delicious this morning: cereal, croissant, yogurt, ham, bacon, eggs, pineapple, and grapefruit or pineapple juice. The courtyard is a fun place to hang out with picnic tables and palm trees. I am trying to adjust to the climate of the French Rivera. It is ...

... lights danced to the music of people winning. The building itself was also very nice. After a quick circuit, I opted for an empty blackjack table (rather than others which were 2 to 3 people deep). I slid 50 euros to the dealer and soon realised I wasn’t going to get change from that, as I noticed the discreet “50€” sign in the corner. The cards were dealt. I lost. All in all, it took about 20 seconds. For those interested ...
