The sun rose over a beautifully still Mediterranean with no noticeable wind and a few early sun bathers warming themselves on the beach. Paradise found. Up at 8.30 is getting late but only after the local municipal workers had parked their noise making machine outside our window at 6.10 waking me and the dead. Not Anne as it happens. Not sure what that means.
