A fabulous place! The owners are very kind, the units are comfortable and well appointed, and the location is good. A 15 minute walk down to the beach.

    Steak and Shake in Cannes!

A travel blog entry by turnerstravels on Apr 26, 2015

This is a quick entry, and it is for just us. Nothing exciting, except I had to mention one of the best meals we have had, and it was at a chain burger joint called Steak and Shake. The weather on the trip has been hot, very humid and sunny virtually the whole time. We have been very lucky.

    ... than we did today.

The owner comes back on board tomorrow for an unknown amount of time, and then we will begin the slow trek over to the Caribbean. The Atlantic crossing takes about 3 weeks, but I cannot wait to see the stars at night sitting in the middle of the ocean.

For now, I will be looking forward to celebrating my birthday riding a bike on the beaches of Valencia, tapas bar hopping, and drinking some delicious Spanish wine.

... me to consider, so we thanked the rather rude lady, and left the store. Two doors down, there was "Burma" -- the classic "fake" shop. Good, this will be more up my alley. The woman in the shop, was not helpful, or even kind. It felt like we were bothering her. I like a lovely pair of amethyst earrings, and Marina a large pear-shapped citrine ring. As luck would have it -- neither one of us bought anything here either. It was getting late, time ...

We had 40 mins to walk around the palace square, the small alleys with souvenir shops, the church and the views from the terraces. There was no changing of the guard today because of the threat of rain & hail. We bought a toasted brie & salad roll to share since it was 1pm. The tour was meant to finish at ...
