... much better and we head out to the Paradise Pub for some cheeseburgers where I understand that they add cheese to the meat before cooking for the extra yummy fat. Burgers were very good but no time to waste, we have a trip to make.
Now comes the part that explains why "Gomorrah" is in the today's title. Four of us (Paul C. decides to stay behind) head off 90 miles down to ...
... pick something up from her postbox but she needed a witness to prove she didn't enter the house, she had bruises up her arms from where she said she had had a domestic with her husband. I'm not sure why but i agreed as she said it was only 5 minutes away so would drop me at the station in 10 minutes, so i threw my backpack in the back and small bag in the front with me. She was probably late 30's, petite and her name was Cindy. Now if this was a bloke there is no way i would have ...
Key West, Florida, United States edwardallin... mainly couples!) gazing out over the sea watching the sun go down with acoustic guitar playing in the background. Something we will never forget. We left Mallory Square and headed to a Caribbean restaurant for dinner. The setting was lovely, but unfortunately both Jim and I have got slightly dodgy stomachs and couldn't finish our food.
We headed back to the hotel for an early night ready for the drive back to Miami in the morning.
... in 1956 by a Sardinian fisherman, Milton Santini, who lived in the Keys. Whilst fishing one day an Atlantic bottlenose dolphin got caught up in his nets and he decided to rescue it. The dolphin, Mitzi, later went on to become the original 'Flipper'. Over the next few decades the centre changed hands a number of times, until finally becoming the DRC, a non-profit organisation, in 1983. There are 19 dolphins in total at the centre, some that have been rescued and some that were ...
Key West, Florida, United States jimandlaura... was really urging cause I had about 50$ left. I firmly believe in faith, (and in my guardian angel who really likes me) and I think faith drove me to a certain place, all the restaurants I saw I was like humm, no, not nice, too cheap, too expensive, and then I saw one restaurant who really looked neat, nice menu, nice settings, I went in, talked to the manager and he proposed me to come ...
Key West, Florida, United States geoffreyverdonc... no answer….i get out of the shop, the heat of outside hurt me loudly but that’s why I’m here, I sit on the stairs at the entrance of the shop for ten minutes….then I decide to make a move. If my friends like surfer shops I didn’t come here for this, so, they could at least say that they prefer to stay here. I go to visit the city and come back one hour and a half later. They are still in the shop, they ...
Key West, Florida, United States ciexiJust got back from Key West and it was wonderful! A nice relaxing week before the craziness that will be packing and leaving for London. It really made me realize just how much of a Florida girl I am. Don't think I could ever live too far away from the beach, palm trees, and 100% humidity! It was soooo hot down there but I loved every second of it. I kept saying I was trying to soak up every bit of ...
Key West, Florida, United States beetlejuiceIt was Pauletta's turn to start meeting Steve's family...beginning with mom...in Florida. We thought we would be helping Steve's step-dad cleanup the remains of his house. However, things changed because the insurance company and FEMA hadn't visited the coastal town he lived in. Things remained on hold. (See ...
Key West, Florida, United States globetrekkers... there until sunset which was cool. Some people got married there at sunset, they had a harp playing and it was all quite romantic. Today we are browsing round the rest of Key West, is a really cute town with lots of craft places and expensive restaurants that look like English tearooms!! Tomorrow we are off to Fort Lauderdale. We will be there just for one night as we catch our flight to the Bahamas on the 30th! How exciting!! Jealous? TTFN.xxx
