... keep falling asleep but you are so uncomfortable you wake up again. Once we finally took off it didn't take long to get to San Francisco. I haven't seen the Golden Gate Bridge yet - tomorrow. The drive to our hotel was a little worrying. We went through lots of ugly places with scary people hanging around and as we got into the city there was a road rage incident where a man was yelling at the car behind us and banging it with his fist. ...

We made it to Maroochydore via Gympie in good time and going that way didn’t add any additional time to our trip. We booked a 2 bed apartment that is right on the Maroochy River and the view is spectacular. Our friends Cheryl and Paul are coming up to stay with us which is great! We always have fun with them so looking forward to them coming!

Anyway, this really is the last travel blog, hope you enjoy this one, its a bit of a massive read but hopefully funny!

Could see where he was until he climbed up the skinniest tree around, he really wasn’t great at picking trees, event he leaves were brown!

We left him in peace and headed towards the beach, was still a little way off, but didn’t take that long. Got some more great views of the beach.

... we found was on the river front. Our view from the camper was of the river and the sea. A beautiful spot. We showered and dressed in our best clothes to go out to celebrate Johanna's birthday. Johanna was over hungry and looking forward to dining at one of the two vegetarian restaurants over the road. Well, they both missed out on our company and our custom as they had closed already! Whoa and only 6.30 at night. A guy packing up ...

... sickness but I do find that windy roads make me nauseous. Mapleton was at the top. There were scenic views along the route but we couldn't see much because if the rain. The road between Mapleton and Montville is lined with jacaranda trees in all their purple glory.. By the time we got home there was a thunder storm. We heard on the news, that there were flash floods and trees down in Brisbane. It continued to storm throughout the evening but had stopped by the time we turned ...
