... some took some inner-tubes, particularly if they hadn't snorkelled before. There was 19 on the catamaran, one Australian got crook from ingesting water and was like sea sick. She eventually came right as we were heading back. We had come around about a kilometre from where the ship was anchored and had. A good view of the ship. ... considered to be British soil, we were told to not go on this little spit of land. Down the ladder into an amazing area covered with a beautiful coral reef, we saw LOTS of fish. We were in the water about an hour and didn't want to get out. Luke had purchased a waterproof case for his Ipod and was able to take some great shots under the sea. Kona airport security worse than anywhere. First shuttle staff put us in huge line till I remembered we were first class....then she moved us to lesser queue. All drugs pulled out of gregs backpack. shoved back in and couldn't fit them, no care....what did he do? More soon... .meanwhile I'm shoved through on wheelchair which we had to request again....then fully patted swabbed. Waiting with Greg with guy who was pushing wheelchair for ages. He put his sunscreen in bag, goose! ...

... and more expensive room, and the best room would only cost us $130 plus tax, etc. I was very pleased. Again thanks to Ira and Fran and thanks to "Revealed"! The only thing was our room smelt a bit "musty". I turned on the dehumidifier but it did not help too much. I think if we stayed in the rooms in the main lodge it would be better, but the rooms there were all booked out.

I took a shower - very good shower, best since this trip! My face and arms ...

... we have a huge corner room with acres of balcony on 2 sides and our ‘Partial Sea View’ means we can actually see the sea. Having found the room we then went for a walk about to sort out the potential eating spots in the vicinity and popped into an info office to try to get info on what there was to do. It turned out to be a front for a timeshare company and somewhere between telling you what there was to do, the guy slipped ...
