... bag inspection again before we arrived in the departure terminal. We are now waiting for the 12.00 flight to the Big Island. We have changed out of our heavy tops for slightly cooler ones. The weather is cloudy and in the high 20's. We have seen Diamond Head and the high rises at Waikiki but they will have to wait until next week. Well it is now nearly 8 pm and we have just woken up. It was a 45 mInute flight from ...

... up around the house, then headed there as well. After lunch, they went back and did some snorkeling, but the waves were pretty rough and it was tough going for them out in the water. Coming back in, you have to time your entry perfectly thru a space in the lava rock shore. Adjacent to the beach is St. Peter's By-the-Sea Catholic Church (also know here as the Little Blue Church), built in 1880. It's ...

... into long boring flight and couldn't sleep. OMG! First World problems, for sure. ;-) I know ... poor us! We got in at 10 p.m. local time. By the time we got our luggage, got a cab and got settled into our condo, it was 11:30 p.m. = 3:30 a.m. Regina time. As I write this, it's 4 a.m. here (8 a.m. at home). Roger is gently snoring away beside me. He's a good sleeper. Will have to get my internal clock straightened out over the next couple of ...

PGAGolf anyone?

A travel blog entry by bbusch on Jan 24, 2015

Today we decided to take in the Mitsubishi Electric PGA tournament. Tickets were reasonable ($20.00). You parked for free and they had shuttle buses taking you to the course. I have never done that before so I was excited. Got there For the first tee off at 10:30 but they didn't allow any cameras on the course so sadly I have no pictures. We took chairs and sat in the shade at green 1 and watched all the golfers play their first ...
