... with the visit to the Van Gogh Museum. A very interesting place to view a different style of painting and life of a great painter.

Few things that you should not miss in Amsterdam is the canal cruise. We took a dinner cruise. A perfect romantic meal for a couple. Takes you through the scenic beauty of the brightly lit water canals along with a delicious meal and wine.

With this we bid farewell to Amsterdam and moved to the next city.

... canal cruise. We had some spare time, so walked around the nearby streets. The aroma in the air was of rotting garbage and marijuana. There were some very dodgy shops, too.

Our cruise left at 7pm, but it was still bright sunshine. It was an interesting cruise, but not spectacular. We went slowly, which was good, as it enabled the young driver to steer with his foot, and use both hands to text. We saw some beautiful buildings, ...

... anything. If they are working, it's often a job below their skill level. It's so rough right now. It's really sad. So we just hung out and played cards, then made friends with some New Zealanders, crazily enough. They just started talking to us and then we invited them to play cards with us. They taught us how to play a new game. And we chatted with them all afternoon. It was one girl and two guys who are working on a cruise ship at the moment. I can't remember ...

... apple. i also ordered some profitejes which is Paulines favourite and Dior loves them too. We then checked into the hotel we were staying at the Avenue Hotel. ... a couple of large stores for a look on our way to the Flower market. Bulbs and plants beautiful, ' seeds ' for sale etc. We stopped at a local cafe for lunch and as Barry does, he asks what's good, and we went with his recommendation. Meat croquettes - divine, served with bread and salad, and then dutch apple pancake. We shared so we could try both.
