    Final morning. Said goodbye to Ipek and Silar our wonderful hosts. They really are exceptional people.     From Rhodes, we took a 3 hour ferry to Symi, an incredibly delightful island. A small island, the dwellings and infrastructure are essentially heritage listed so they all retain the character of the previous centuries. The port is really beautiful, like something you see in movies. It is surrounded by mountains and the houses are built up onto the slopes.
