Public transit in Prague is very convenient and easy to figure out. They sell by time (i.e. 30 min, 24 hrs, 72 hrs, etc.). We took the bus to central Prague, where we transferred to the underground metro to get to our hotel.

Arrived on thursday night tired from munich , got to hostel 1 the most chilled and fun , liberal and friendly place I have ever stayed. All the people treated me amazingly and we cultured it up and partied hard. Extremely sad to leave this tremendous city xxx

... you can always hear it and if they are speeding, the noise is quite loud. There are very few cars in the city and the rail and metro system seems to be efficient. There don’t seem to be very (have not seen any yet) green and red men which means pedestrians just amble out and cars tend to stop for them. ... scale, as befits the size of the castle grounds, and is filled with beautiful stained glass windows. Must be fantastic when the sun is shining. We tried to find King Wenceslas' tomb but couldnt work it out. Apparently he was stabbed to death inside this cathedral by his brother.
