    ... a huge tub of tomato paste in it (thinking it was tinned tomatoes) added an unknown tub of sauce (it was delish - with alot of cumin in!!) added brinjals and a tin of peas, and ate that with the most gorgeous bread that you get everywhere in Turkey!!! It was divine!!! We have loved going into the supermarket here - its called Bims. Jeez, but this Turkish lingo is a very difficult language to decipher!!     ... to Thailand, but highly enjoyable nonetheless. Elite Diving Centre, in Fethiye, provides a friendly, reliable and safe experience (all the essentials for a diving trip). However, there were times when I felt the boat master's time management could have been improved: the first dive was at 12pm and the second not until 5pm; a long day given that we set off at 8:30am! Nevertheless, a very enjoyable day which I would recommend to others curious in the underwater world.

    After busy, noisy and touristy Bodrum I finally arrived in Fethiye, formerly called Telmessos by the Greeks. After checking in and leaving my stuff in the hostel, I went for a walk (as I always do) in order to get a first impression of the city. And to get a sense of direction.
    Since it was quite late, I went only to the Telmessos castle, overlooking the whole city from the top of it. The city itself dates back as early as 5th century BC. But thats the case ...
