Not much happened today...surfed for a little bit with Brendan at Donkeys even though the conditions were kind of ****** with choppy surf and an overcast sky. However, there were some bombs coming in and the couple of waves I caught were overhead which were some of the biggest waves I'd caught so far, so that was a highlight. Other then that, a pretty lazy day. I thought they weren't supposed to have ****** weather in ...
... the other day but be blowed if I could make out any giant sleeping or otherwise. Norbert told us about it last night he said "its a bit steep". He does not fib. Our original plan was to hike two miles to Hanakapi'ai Beach, but concern for Ted's safety caused us to turn around at about a mile and a half. We didn't want to risk a fall on the slippery rocks at this point in his recovery. However, the exercise was wonderful, and we did get to see some fantastic views from way up ...
