... on his crutches as he felt one of the screws inside his knee had worked it's way loose. He stayed in the car for the ferry trip. We arrived at Sami in Kefallonia and headed straight to the hospital. We were all a bit worried that the doc would have to open his leg back up! We sat on the balcony overlooking the beautiful bay and village of Kioni as smells of yummy Greek food and the putt, putting of boats echoed in the distance. We sipped tea and chatted. Greek music is blaring from a tinny radio; the bus door just slammed shut and my heart surged a little. I'm excited! (Joanne thinks a little crazy.) Our adventure isn't over you see. We've seen Ithaca and while it was the end of the trail for The Odysseus, I'm hoping there is another one out there for us, another Ithaca at the end of the next ...

... was in a lot of pain. Marco had had to run him to the hospital. The doctor thought he needed antibiotics as the knee was inflamed. He may have twisted it somehow - we'll know more after his x-Ray on Tuesday. We went down to the village for tea- Marky had moussaka and I had lamb off the spit. Very yummy. We went back and spent some time with Andy. The antibiotics must be kicking in As he was dozing. Hopefully he will be feeling a bit better ...
