Woke up to the sounds of the ocean. We got a good four hours sleep. Started today with a walk on the beach. Attached is a great picture of a crab we saw sunning along the beach. Later, we found out he was deceased. I was wondering why we were able to get so close. Then a trip to McDonald's for breakfast. We needed our McGriddle fix!!

Although this time I am not sleeping in a hammock blowing in the breezes, I am reliving that same phenomenon. Last night my dreams were vivid; I was traveling in time and I sensed a change in the energy around me - just like in Wesselman's book.

... so idyllic with the bamboo towering over us and blocking out the sunlight. A few times, we just had to stop and appreciate the trees rattling against each other in the wind. A very cool experience. At the end of the trail, we were rewarded with views of the massive Waimoku Falls- the largest waterfall on Maui- reaching close to 400 feet. By this time, we were dying to get into the water, but we knew a swim in the Sacred Pools was in our very near future. We ...

... associated with the 'Iao Needle, let me know and I'll describe it.

It is time to go home. We return to the car (making sure we have all of our belongings!) and drive back down the valley.
When we get back to the condo, we pour glasses of wine and stand out on the lanai to watch the sunset. Jeff thanks me for helping him today and I thank him for not drowning.

It took me a really, really long time to fall asleep.
