Spent the entire day on the beach. Did a bit of snorkeling by our condo. Had a green turtle feeding right by our sea wall.

For dinner, we had another Hawaiian style dinner at a Hawaiian BBQ place.

Got a text from Jim and Patty Hill. They landed in Maui. Welcome to Hawaii guys. Sheila and I look forward to getting together with …

We spent the rest of the afternoon on a drive to the southern most part of the island and Makena State Park - the end of the road!! On our way, we went through Wailea - expensive side of the island. At the state park, we …

Woke up to the sounds of the ocean. We got a good four hours sleep. Started today with a walk on the beach. Attached is a great picture of a crab we saw sunning along the beach. Later, we found out he was deceased. I was wondering why we were able to get so close. Then a trip to McDonald's for breakfast. We needed our McGriddle fix!!

... it seems a very long way from what we all think of as Polynesia. If you can imagine the city of Hull plonked down onto Barbados, I think you are most of the way there (probably a bit harsh). We are stopping here less than 24 hours, - just long enough to let people off, take on over 20 tons of food and a new crop of mostly American and Canadian cruisers, 24 hours is just long enough for us to get away from town for a few hours and take a short circle tour of the south coast of Oahu. ...
