Spent the entire day on the beach. Did a bit of snorkeling by our condo. Had a green turtle feeding right by our sea wall.

For dinner, we had another Hawaiian style dinner at a Hawaiian BBQ place.

Got a text from Jim and Patty Hill. They landed in Maui. Welcome to Hawaii guys. Sheila and I look forward to getting together with …

We spent the rest of the afternoon on a drive to the southern most part of the island and Makena State Park - the end of the road!! On our way, we went through Wailea - expensive side of the island. At the state park, we …

Woke up to the sounds of the ocean. We got a good four hours sleep. Started today with a walk on the beach. Attached is a great picture of a crab we saw sunning along the beach. Later, we found out he was deceased. I was wondering why we were able to get so close. Then a trip to McDonald's for breakfast. We needed our McGriddle fix!!

... south along the coast to the end of the road which turned out to be the last lava flow area on Maui which occurred in 1790. This south coast of the island is the sheltered side and as a consequence is where all the resorts are. There are 100's of them. Lots of golf courses too. I think there are 14 on the island. The geography of the island is very dramatic due to it's size (64k long x 42k at its widest) and being made up of two volcanos. The largest ...
