Unfortunately we listened to our 'carer' and got off the bus one stop too early, so more walking was involved!

By now Paul's ready for a siesta and happy hour, but Lisa had other plans for us - Friday night is Market Night in Surfers - we HAVE to go! (I think I heard Paul actually groan!)

I cooked up some of our prize winning chicken that we had won last night (was awful - I know why they gave it away ...

... one of the worlds tallest residential towers. The view was spectacular, as far as the eyes could see of white sand and the nearby high rise buildings combined with the winding rivers of Surfers Paradise. We saw the view by day and night after watching the sunset. We were struck by the lack of things to do and we were happy we only planned a 2 night stay. Next stop Brisbane.

Arriving late at night our hostel picked us up from the greyhound bus terminal which was great. It was right on the beach and our room was so nice. We had been on the bus for 6 hours so we relaxed, watched some tv and went to bed! The following day we went for breakfast at a little cafe called fresh, we then made our way to the beach and spent the day at the beach in the hot weather! The beach was beautiful white sands and blue sea. There was ************e on ...
