      ... there is a big space where there is a blue domed church as you approach Imerovigli. I don't really where Firostefani starts or end from Fira as they are pretty close to each other. There are many donkeys along the way, some carrying cement for construction, others for tourist who wants to take a donkey ride up or down to the harbour on the bottom.       The island of Santorini was to be our final destination after seven and a half hours cruising.       ... for Easter. Children carried beautifully decorated candles to light at this service as part of their Easter celebrations. I saw the candles in shop windows and they were beautiful.

      On the Easter Sunday, we went for a walk along the beachfront and families were all gathering together to celebrate Easter and were roasting lambs over open pit fires in their yards. It was very interesting to see this side of Greece and the celebrations ...

      ... in Indonesian when they brought out a beautiful chocolate birthday cake complete with candles. He was both pleased and embarrassed. As we were in Katakolon, he got to go to Olympia. Its going to take a lot to top this birthday:-)

      Tomorrow, we are in Athens (Pireaus) and the next day so hope to be better organised and attach some photos.
