The concert at St Giles cathedral tonight was fantastic- a visiting choir from William Jewell College in Missouri who travel regularly to perform singing and organ music. Man, its been busy - haven't had time to keep the blog up to date. Must be the influence of the Howes!

Started the day with something different - a full cooked Scottish breakfast! (much the same as an Irish one but with haggis - tastes good).

Drove from Glasgow to Edinburgh - took about an hour. It looked like the rain was going to set in.

After a really good sleep in and a few hours chatting with Islay we thought it time to go and check out what Edinburgh had to offer. We walked into town and wandered the shops. Edinburgh is a beautiful city. The Castle on the hilltop gives it a medieval feel and the Royal Mile definitely feels like a step back in time.
