... is the bright orange Basilica of St George. We wandered around some of the small lanes, past nativity scenes and lots of statues. At one of the cafes we stopped for some 'hot wine' - mulled wine. ... made it to King Charles Palace and Mum bought us shields. We saw inside the beautiful church. Then we went and had homemade lemonade and apple strudel in a cafe at the Palace. We sat near a famous tennis player Martina Navratilova,and Mum took a sneaky photo of her!

On the way home we saw a medieval fight, and they were using real swords and shields. They all had long hair!

To station with my grandma, 5.30pm flight to Prague, chatting to Czechs for whole journey about Australia and their home country. Met at airport by Lucie & Betty, my Czech friends who worked on the house-keeping team at Lakeside until the end of July. Bus trip into Prague to Bettie's flat and late night chatting to the girls over wine.
