Went into two churches - the amazing baroque extravaganza of Church of St Nicholas (two churches with same name) with a beautiful ceiling fresco. Second one was the Church of Our Lady Victorious. ... Red Cross visit. Gardens were installed and a soccer field was erected. The Nazi’s intentionally imported artistic Jews into the camp. Composers and musicians were forced to make plays and songs to commemorate their time in the camp. Artists and photographers were force to make pictures to shed the camp in a positive light. Moving through the museum, we could see the images the artists had created. The photographs especially had an eerie feeling of oppression. ...
