    ... goon and sat on the bridge drinking it (Until a policeman came and thought we were going to jump off the bridge and commit suicide so he told us to move on). We returned to our hostel feeling pretty knackered after our first bit of exercise for four months! In the morning we felt we needed to explore the city a bit more (being drunk and running around in the early hours doesn't count).     ... with lovely old wooden buildings; then on to local beauty spots all beautifully landscaped. The people live in ramshackle apartments, but make good use of the green surroundings. The only imperfect thing is the weather, which is grey, cold and showery. Tomorrow we cruise on the Li River to Yangshuo for 2 nights, so hope it improves! No photos yet - maybe tomorrow. The mountains are spectacular and we are told they just get better as we cruise ...

    ... to try and get us some money back haha...didn't work but I now have a massive white plaster on my brown foot!! Been in the wars today as when.I went to the public loo I thought a wasp stung me but think it was just a massive bug resting on my sunburnt legs. I've also been bit by mossies. Bit, burnt and cut all in one day can't be bad they say it comes in 3's haha!! We miss p20 as Jack also burnt all his tummy but at least ...

    We noticed he didn’t look up a computer or use a phone, nor did he take down our details in case it turned up. I guess they had our prints by now, so will be able to track us down ,LOL!!

    However he kindly gave us details of how to find the police station in tewantin. Just turn left by the servo…….
