    ... million dollar homes. There are also lots of gated communities with fancy dancy entrances - think mini Vegas! We had a very pleasant stroll around the shops & wondered how all the restaurants could ever make it. Well after watching sunset at the beach we drove back along 5th Avenue to marvel at all the full restaurants that were empty only 2 hours before.

    ... at art galleries. This town of 700 or so mostly free spirits is an oft-cited exemplar of "Old Florida." Even the residents routinely use that term to describe their town and its groovy vibe and funky charm.

    ... day we were here, our campground had a pig roast, all you can eat pig plus potato salad,cole slaw, baked beans, and cake. raffle tickets for money and door prizes. and live music, it was like having jimmy buffett right there!!!! the people in the park were friendly and nice, lots of them seem to be from ohio and of course canada.

    if it weren' t for the traffic and all the people, we'd spend a season here!!

    ... I have to confess (well apart from Rusty the cat who is American through and through).
