        The city called Heraklion, or if you like, Iraklio. Two names for the same place. It's the big island. Once treed and lush, it was clear cut for timber to build ships.         ... to our "VIP" lounge. There were maybe ten people in the entire cabin, we had our own food bar with coffee machine, sandwiches, cold drinks, etc. (by the way the chicken burger was worse than what you get at McDonalds), massive windows opening to the entire front and sides of the ship, and big red cushy reclining leather seats.         ... are now half way through our extensive trip. Two hundred minutes on the ships satellite internet, even with using freebies whilst in port. Every enterprising cafe, restaurant and bar offers free wi-fi if they are near the cruise terminal. The crew do not get any deals on satellite connection time, so they head ashore at every opportunity to contact their families at home.         ... We even took an extra path that jetted out towards an enormous rock formation known as Skaros Rock, where Blake and Rob climbed to the top for a bit of extra exercise. We passed many villas where people were soaking up the sun next to beautiful infinity pools. As hot and sweaty as we were, there were quite a few moments where we considered jumping into the pools!
