Today I received an note from a good friend that is traveling with us.
“ Larry, Joe patties is in Pensacola Florida and Top sail rv resort is in Sana Rosa beach next to Destin.We just had a Happy Hour together so I understand the typos. ”
To set the record straight he is right on all accounts.
... and went for a walk on the beach. Crowded campsites are not fun at all. The sand is like raw cane sugar. Very glassy and white, almost like snow. It squeaks under your feet, so of course I was playing in that for a while, squeaking along the beach :-) I did not go for a swim though - the water was cold! ... delicious. Afterwards we drove around the downtown area. A lot of the building architecture resembles the French Quarter in New Orleans and there are plenty of eating establishments and shops to draw folks in. It was nice to see lots of people out enjoying the evening.
