    ... a WWII era submarine, the USS Drum. This submarine was commissioned in 1941 and saw plenty of battle as well. If you have never been in a sub, it is amazing to think that over 70 people could be in those cramped quarters for long periods of time, underwater. That would not be an assignment for me.

    ... off golf this morning because of the lightning. We're all going to Denny's now. Breakfast at Denny's was good. Judy's mom Polly, brother Norm and SIL Tommy are a lot of fun. Went by the fire station and met nephew Scott. Then went by Polly's house and visited some more. It poured all during breakfast. Hoping things clear up so the guys can golf.
