... everything we saw - the white sandy beaches and the wooden clad bars. Each day was fun packed starting with a morning workout in their garage, courtesy of Heather who put us through our paces with exercises that we hadn't been accustomed to for a while. This routine was a good addition as we ate a lot of fried food and drank a lot of beer during our stay so it kept us alive!

... part of valor, and came back down. If I were a lighthouse keeper, the ships at sea would be in a world of hurt! Larry didn't come in, so here are pix of me with a boyfriend I found inside, and of Josh and me on those incredible stairs. Oh, and one of Josh with a pelican statue. I do need to add another photo looking up those stairs. Josh was peeking down in one, when I had stopped on a window ledge, so we'll include that one.

Oh my - today has been so busy that I hope I don't leave anything out! First, we went to the Gulf State Park Pier, which is approximately a quarter of a mile long. Quite a hike to the end of that thing, and back. Josh made pix of Larry and me in about the same place we made pix on our honeymoon, in 1989. ... so off we went - and tonight is their live music night. The ambiance in that place is fabulous, and the local couple who provided the music were excellent. Larry requested a Tina Turner song, "What's Love Got to Do With It?" and the girl had never sung it before, but agreed to give it a try.
