... An early start on Saturday 9 November saw us clear Mexican immigration, and organise the import of Elephant with no problems except our hopeless Spanish. An hour later we were well down into Sonora and stopped at the first (of many) military checkpoint. We had our bags and paperwork checked and were sent on our way. By the end of the day we had found a village with a hotel and good fish tacos and our adventure in the United States of Mexico was at last underway.

... singing and entertainment after our BBQ dinner and a ghost horse rider. Of course the evening wouldn't have been complete without Nana purchasing purple bejeweled cowgirl hats for the girls. A good time was had by all.
It was sad to say goodbye. I was willing to let Ronan return to Shanghai, pack our things, ship them home and move back. I guess that wasn't in the cards for us though because here I am typing from Shanghai. At least I was able to smuggle in my new iMac.
