Vi startede med at købe en busbillet tur/retur fra Bondi til centrum - ritti' smart troede vi, så vi var fri for at lede efter en billetautomat, når vi skulle tilbage til hostlet for at ...
Finally arrived
... away or was slightly confused as I have 2 reservations with them. Anyway she tried very well to play it down. So far so good. I gone up to my room which is room 203. It's a mixed dorm and it is full for today but I am so tired by now that I will fall asleep quite quickly I guess. But first I had a shower which was good and now I am a bit settled in my bed and will turn around now for a hopefully good nit ...
No Brax in sight
We took a taxi from Bronte to the Wicked Camper Van depot, excited to get into our new (new to us at least...) camper van. We arrived and I have to say I was a little disappointed- the van's had no cool rock star motif's painted on the side, and for some reason I was expecting a genuine Aussie bloke to greet us. Instead we were met by a very very genuine Scottish lad. Still, I got over that pretty quickly.
Our van was upgraded to a 5 seater 4x4 but ...
To Sydney!
... The Rocks for lunch - exploring properly tomorrow but so far like what I've seen. Lots of little market stalls and pretty streets right under the bridge and opposite the opera house. Felt a bit surreal to see it, everyone told me it was small so it actually looked bigger than I had anticipated! Life ambition achieved. After lunch in the sun we headed back to the hotel briefly to grab some more clothes for the evening. Walked ...
Summer Bay!!
Took a 2 hour bus trip up the coast to visit Palm Beach... AKA Summer Bay where they film Home and Away!!
Walked along the beach and saw the surf club.... No Brax!
Saw Dolphins swimming iin the surf and jumping about the waves! Was brilliant!
Headed back to the city... an other 2 hours! But totally worth it!
