    ... is a stage set up on the edge of the Harbour for open-air performances. This year it is Aida and it must be a fabulous experience, provided it doesn’t rain of course. The sun was setting as we walked back towards Circular Quay and a beautiful rainbow appeared over the Harbour, which looked enchanting. We had a fabulous day with Elaine and Bob and we hope we will be able to meet up with them again if they visit UK in the future.

    ... they ran back downstairs and slept in the common room of the hostel. I wake up the next morning to one of the workers at the front desk and Sam discussing this cockroach situation and I instantly wake up and say "Are you ******* kidding me!?!?" So we seal up our gear and head out for our daily activities... Another walk to the harbour, and finally a walk up to see what the Opera House is all about - amazing how different it looks from up close compared ...

    ... is very expensive here. For the 3 of us, a meal costs almost $60 AUD. And that was for waters and 2 shared entrees. They don't split checks here and you don't tip. You will be bumped, smooshed, run over, and no one will say excuse me or give one ****. Australians are very rude. The accents change from place to place. Australians only get more difficult to understand especially when talking fast. Things I hate: instant coffee, rude people, and Australian light ...

    ... for the LA flight, which seemed to pass moderately quickly while watching a couple of movies, eating and pretending to sleep. They served a very nice lemon and elderflower juice and the hot chocolate is always a favorite.
