... the cafes. We explored the old town a bit more finding the Rimondi Fountain with it's spouting lions heads before heading to the front to find a restaurant for lunch our New Years treat. We chose a traditional Greek place. It had an extensive menu, at the recommendation of 'The Old Druid' we both had Kleftiki, sliced of lambs leg slowly cooked with vegetables and potatoes, it was delicious! Washed down with beers. The ...

Before leaving the campsite we walked Logan on the beach, it's makes your ankles ache walking on the pebbles. The sea is much calmer, but the wind is still cold and gusty.
We set off to drive to the next village, we had to drive up into the mountains across one of the deep ravines and then come back down again.

If we had gone in would the drinks have been pushed down the bar to us?
At the top of the street there was ...

... a calendar with pictures of his shop on the front! Once the shopping was put away we drove through the town, it's split into two parts with a hill separating the two sides, where there is the remains of a fort. The new side has a new harbour and a sandy beach, most of the houses are low rise apartments with flat roofs, the old side has the old harbour and small houses with red tiled roofs. We followed the signs for a camp site, hoping that it would be open, somewhere to shelter ...

Another windy night and it's wet this morning. We spent some time sorting the photos to post on today's blog and then prepared to move on.
The rain had passed and the sun was shinning making it feel quite warm. We took Logan for a walk, first we walked to the right, across the lovely pink coloured sand, the tide was going out. We came to some black rocks enclosing small bays with black pebbly beaches. We looked into the rock pools but there doesn't seem to ...
