        ... s boat licence. Lifejackets? "No, I didn't bother to put any in, so you would have more room in the boat." OK... The initial plan was to head out of the harbour and round to the old city side so we could see the old city and the walls from the water side. However the waters off Dubrovnik are much less sheltered than the waters off Split, there was a slight swell and the breeze made the conditions quite choppy. Neither comfortable nor hugely ...

        ... sharing good food and good conversation. We had fresh grilled fish - it was not cleaned or deboned - the fish was so fresh I learned to perform myself. You just cut off the head; then slice the belly and open the filet. The main bones just lift out with the tail and your meal is ready to go.         ... weather forecast we head onto a small port in Korcula for the evening, its a calm crossing and the port is very quiet.
