... shop I went to in Bruges was called Dumon Chocolatier and it has got to be one of the best chocolate shops in all of Belgium. In three days, I had visited 4 shops: Laurent Gerard, Neuhus, The Chocolate Line, and Dumon - and the last was my favorite. I opted for a mixed assortment of 30 pieces of chocolate, and I have been slowly enjoying them as I continue my trip to Ireland. If Will is lucky, there may be a few left for him when he picks me up from the airport in 1.5 ...

... We are currently staying just outside of Brussels, Belgium with a really good friend of mine who lives here with his wife Danielle and their tiny human Reagan. Also worth mentioning, I have run into my first health issue and as I write this blog my head feels like it's in a vice! Luckily Matt is a Physician and has all the good drugs. We feasted on samples of cheeses, oils, waffles. I have become a fan of Siroopwafelen - a thin round ...

... thing to do. Within the center of Brussels we saw the main square where they hold markets and other events. We of course also had to see the famed Manneken Pis. If you've never heard of Manneken Pis before, basically, it's a small naked bronze baby - less than two feet (61 cm) high - that has water coming out of his private part. People come from all over the world to see this small statue and supposedly it's the third most famous statue in the ...

... delicious food and nifty little trinkets. We stopped by a chocolate store as well and the chocolate was absolutely to die for! So once we got home from our night, we crawled into bed and got a good nights sleep for the next day!

We woke up fairly early around nine, and headed downstairs to enjoy the continental breakfast. After a cup of coffee, some toast and cereal, we headed to our room to get ready for the day. We got organized and took the tram back to the ...
