everything you see is made and built to perfection. The streets are spotless and
the towns are done up in wonderful colours with fountains in the middle of
roundabouts etc. it really is a beautiful country.
I always remember Slovenia being rather flat and the roads lined with trees
which hide the scenery. Well, today was certainly not flat by any means, in fact
I don't think there was a single flat mile in the whole journey.

... supermarket on the way to the flat and we arrived at Dallach 94/8 about 4.30pm. The flat has central heating so is very cosy, a living room-lounge-kitchen, a bedroom with a double bed!(seems like single after our king) and a bathroom etc. the view from the balcony down the lake is superb. ... that they were doing work on the railway and we would have to hop off in two stops and then take a bus and then get back on the train at a later stop. This caused significant discombobulation for Ryan but I was really just going with it. We disembarked the first train follow other passengers like a heard of sheep to an air conditioned bus. ... English, had a bus timetable with him and advised us to stay on the train until Klagenfurt, three stops away. We could then board the bus for Venice from there. We would only be 11/2 hrs late. That sounded like a plan. I mean we had always wanted to go to Klagenfurt ........a relation perhaps to Frankfurt?? Not sure! Anyway, this kind young man even gave us plan B......if the bus at Klagenfurt was booked out, there was a train at 4.30pm for Venice. So there we ...

Talked to Chris on Skype after lunch and then had a swim
in the heated pools.
Sadly, a little rain this eve – the weather has become thunderstormy.
Sadly the campsite shop and bakery appears to have
finished for the season. Bread is now to order only, from reception.
